Quick Quotation Guide for Custom Vial Labels and Boxes
The labeling and packaging of vials differ from those of standard labels and boxes, as they involve numerous variables such as material composition, manufacturing process, adhesive temperature resistance, and die-cutting techniques.
The number of product names printed on the label can significantly impact your quotation request.
To prevent customers from wasting time on ineffective communication, I have prepared this Quick Quotation Guide for you. By simply following these three simple steps to prepare your information, I guarantee that you will receive an accurate and reliable quotation within just 3 minutes.
Step 1: Determine the name of the product you want to order.
Don’t just mention how many labels in total are needed.
In pharmaceutical packaging, there are many drug names and different contents for each name, each representing a design.
Step 2: Determine the quantity you would like to purchase.
The order quantity directly determines the unit price.
This is the most critical part of the quotation!
Custom labels and boxes both feature a “minimum order quantity” and a “tiered pricing structure.”
Please be sure to let me know clearly:
The quantity for this batch of orders is as follows:
500 labels and 1,000 boxes.
Why is the order quantity so important?
For custom-printed packaging, the plate-making fee and setup fee are fixed. For example, the price per sheet may differ by several times depending on whether you order only 1,000 sheets of labels or 5,000 sheets of labels.
To receive an accurate quote, please provide us with the following two key pieces of information:
- How many labels of each design do you need to order? That is, how many products require labeling?
- How many labels are needed for each design?

Step 3: Provide dimensions or sample photos
If you have design files (AI or PDF format), please send them directly to me; we can then use these files to confirm the dimensions as well as the appropriate materials and manufacturing processes.
If you don’t yet have a specific idea or design, please follow these steps:
Use a ruler to measure the circumference and height of your vials and the width that the label needs to cover.
Take a photo: Snap a comparison photo of the vials placed on a table or inside a box – this will help me determine where to attach the label and how many vials the box should hold.

⚠ Special reminder:
If the item is a vials box, please be sure to let us know whether it is a plug-in box or a flip-top box with an inner support, and how many vials should be placed in the box (1 vial, 5 vials, or 10 vials).
Technical requirements:
Should the printing be color printing (CMYK printing) or Pantone printing (requiring specific Pantone color codes)?
Should the surface be laminated (glossy or matte film) or coated with a varnish?
